MEMPHIS—Christian Brothers University head softball coach Kimmi Hayden has announced the signing of Carlsbad, Calif., pitcher Michelle McEachron to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Lady Bucs next spring.
McEachron, 5-7, was a two-time First-Team All-League pitcher at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad. As a senior, she struck out 244 batters in 174 innings, posting a 1.45 ERA as she led the North San Diego County area in strikeouts.
She was also selected to the All-North County First Team, and she was named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic First Team.
McEachron joins Olive Branch catcher Emily Schmidt and Murfreesboro Blackman infielder Lauren Dorsett in the Lady Bucs' recruiting class.
