MEMPHIS—Christian Brothers University baseball coach Phil Goodwin has announced the signing of Fort Worth, Texas, pitcher David Marshall to a National Letter of Intent to join the Bucs next spring.
Marshall, a 6-2 right-handed pitcher, went 2-0 with a 0.86 ERA in 16 innings at Nolan Catholic HS this spring. He allowed just seven hits and four walks against 11 strikeouts. He was voted Second-Team All-District.
Marshall played in Puerto Rico with Coast to Coast Athletics last summer, and he was part of a US Amateur International trip to play in Australia.
Marshall joins Humboldt pitcher Joey Blankenship in the Bucs' recruiting class.
